Autumn Training Programmes

AUTUMN 3

Despite the recent warm weather, autumn is upon us and I’m looking forward to delivering a new programme of events, including for a new partner, Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service.

As we have been hearing about the fantastic medal wins from Team GB in the Paralympics, I’ve been working with the fantastic charity, Shaw Trust, a regular client of mine. Shaw Trust specialises in getting disabled people into the workplace with a range of skills training, support and employer partners. I have worked with Shaw Trust for over four years and have just launched a new ILM endorsed Management Development Programme for their team leaders.

The programme is designed to take those in leadership roles to the next level by encouraging confidence and motivation and giving practical tips on managing other employees. It includes collaborating with some great colleagues of mine, including an actor who lends powerful learning to our roleplays on giving feedback.

Later this month, I’m designing a new leadership programme for the Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service blog link. I look forward to working with the senior managers through a period of uncertainty and change. This is another collaborative effort and I’m delighted to be using my associates to support the design and delivery of this programme.

Finally, this autumn sees me continuing my consultancy work on Employee Engagement with London South Bank University. My role involves facilitating focus groups and supporting improvement planning following the results of their latest staff survey.

Engaged employees are twice as successful as disengaged staff.

I’m passionate about employee engagement and its strong links with overall performance. Did you know, when Gallup researchers studied the differences in performance between engaged and actively disengaged work units they found that those scoring in the top half on employee engagement nearly doubled their odds of success compared with those in the bottom half? (Gallup’s 2016 Q12 Meta-Analysis )

As you go into the season ahead, would you like to cultivate new skills or nurture leadership and management in your company?

Would you like an external perspective on ways to gain higher employee engagement, leading to greater results?

All our services can be tailored to suit, so please do get in touch if there’s anything you feel would be helpful.
