Stepping Up Programme

This course provides an opportunity to assess your current situation in a supportive environment, decide on next steps for your personal and career development, and start making positive changes.

By the end of this programme, you will have:

Session 1: Step back and take stock

  • Where am I? Reflections on career to date
  • Who am I? Skills audit
  • What do I want? Goal setting and Careers Anchors questionnaire

Session 2: Step up and take control

  • Being proactive and taking personal responsibility
  • Managing self through change
  • Developing assertiveness
  • Identifying and addressing limiting beliefs
  • Building resilience

 

Session 3: Make it happen and keep it going

  • Building personal impact and presence
  • Action planning with SMART goals
  • Strategies for tackling barriers and for staying motivated
  • Identifying support networks

    Having attended this course myself, and commissioned it for women in my organisation, I would thoroughly recommend to any woman who wants to take stock and focus on their future goals. Mary creates a wonderful environment and really helps the group gel together. Personally speaking, I don’t think I would be so satisfied with where I am at this point in my life without having attended Stepping Up.
